I sat on the Marauder a couple of times and dinīt like the feel. The seat was very uncomfortable to me and the position of the bars didnīt match with the size of my arms. But this is a personal thing. I donīt believe that chain drive is that big an issue, since this is no race bike. For longer trips you might have a look around if thereīs a scottoiler available for the Marauder. The worst thing about the Marauder seems to me that there is a certain lack of power due to the airbox design, which muh smaller that the one used with the 800 cc Intruder.
Personally Iīd go for the V-Star.
